In 1849, Stiletto began as the in-house tool brand of Baker, Hamilton & Pacific Co. in San Francisco, California, supplying miners, ranchers and carpenters with the tools they needed to build their futures. The first Stiletto tools were sold at the historic Baker & Hamilton building in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood.
